Head office billing

Many customers have branches that order and receive goods, with a head office that pays. Customry One handles this with parent accounts.

On a customer’s Details tab, choose its parent account, for example the head office. Tick Invoice at parent account to bill the parent.

The goods still go to the branch, and the order stays on the branch’s record. Only the invoice goes to the parent.

Each order copies the customer’s choice as its Invoice to. Depending on your settings, you can switch an order between the branch and its parent until it’s invoiced.

On To invoice, an order billed at its parent says so: Billed to … (the parent account).

Customers who’d rather have one invoice a week or a month than one per order can have consolidated invoicing.

  1. On To invoice, tick the orders for that account.
  2. Select Start invoices.

Their despatched goods go on one draft invoice. Carriage is a line for each order.

If your company has combining turned off by default, ticking two or more orders for such an account gives you a choice: Start consolidated invoice to combine them, or Start invoices for one each.

An administrator decides how this works for your company, under Administration → Invoicing Settings:
